TRTA is the ONLY voice speaking out for retired education personnel. The other organizations do so only as an after-thought. Hurray for TSTA.

Tim Lee and the TRTA committees work diligently in the best interests of retired teachers.

They gave Bryan Hughes an award after he destroyed our TRS insurance. That man has done nothing for public education. He won’t listen to superintendents in his district. I’m very disappointed in TRTA.

They are AGAINST the TRS lease in a downtown Austin building. The lease would cost millions of dollars a year of our Teacher Retirement Funds.

Personal contact with those that undertand the social contribution of teachers is important! Continuing to make a difference after retirement is also important. Stay engage with your community and help select the future leaders representing Teachers in the Halls of Texas Senate. Vote on March 3, 2020 in the Texas Senate District 11 for the Education candidate!

The voice that keeps the retirees going by voting and achieving our 13th check this year; volunteering information, guest speakers with projects to support. TRTA keeps us informed.

A positive and protective voice for retired teachers. Can’t imagine what we would do without them.

I recommend TRTA because they continue to provide the needed support for all retirees. We need the leadership to continue fighting for retiree benefits.
