We were fit in for an ER surgery for my son. We never noticed it was a "fit in". Everything was seamless. Care was flawless. We were very happy. Last time I used TCH my 26 old was only 5 and I received the same care. I'm very happy.
Words cannot describe how much I appreciate Texas children and the nurses on floor 6 for taking care of my little girl. She was taken by ambulance for low oxygen levels and trouble breathing, and from the moment we stepped in to the hospital we were taking care of 100%. Every nurse, physician, specialist, everyone walked us through the process step by step and made sure my daughter was as comfortable as humanly possible. From the diagnosis of Graves disease to treatment the Endocrinology and Radiology departments doctors and nurses have been amazing! My daughter is now on the road to recovery. Thank you so much!
Yesterday my 14 year old son with Autism needed dental work with sedation. We have been to TCH in years past for dental work, I have to say, they have come a long way! Their #1 goal was to make him comfortable and keep him happy. The anesthesia team was AMAZING! They let me walk him back to the OR and stay with him till he fell asleep,,, no anxiety, no holding, etc. The PCA team was also amazing, very informative and attentive to him and his needs till he was ready to go. Horrible service! My 9 month old son went in for dehydration after having fever, vomit and diarrhea for over 6 days we waited over 3 hours to be seen in the emergency room. When I would ask about the wait time they would state people had been there over 5 hours! At that point I was livid. Not only was I standing there but so was my husband holding my son that had a explosive diaper no one offered my husband a gown or even a napkin. He sat there with poop and vomit on him.
