My daughter is a Tyle 1 diabetic. Her sugars were elevated and couldn't be controlled. Lost job in November have no insurance. Went to LBJ enter with 300s range at triage they just sent us to lobby. Hour and half later she was in high 500s. I went to the triage nurse with the meter showing how high it had gone. I was told to continue waiting in lobby like everyone else. My daughter looked awful. My son has been going to Texas children's hospital for years now and we enjoy the staff and all the hard work they do to make sure to find out what's going on and the one thing I love is they do not push medicine on a child if they don't need it they work with you to avoid that we work together to come up with better opportunities for him thank y'all so much
My review is for Dr. Parnes and nurse Meka... They are in the Blue Bird Circle on the 9th floor neurology. I have to say this is one of the best doctors I have ever in my 36 years come across he actually takes the time to listen to my concerns with my daughter he'll take the time to even do shadow puppets with my daughter. Thank you for all you do! Our boy had a heart defect that was going to end his life at 2 months. He is still with us today and strong as ever because of his doctors and nurses. This July he will turn 5 years old!!! He's playing sports and wearing us out. Life couldn't be better...thanks again!!!
