TCH has terrible service. My daughter just had surgery. Doctors are amazing (surgical teams) which I appreciate. After that every single department starting at recovery area nurses, pharmacy, patient restaurant it is a complete mess. Very incompetent people. They do not have an idea on how to solve basic problems like recording what is being done with the patient. Miscommunication at all levels. Losing prescriptions in the pharmacy. Where do I begin!!? I was here in the pavilion for women for 2 months. Every nurse was amazing and I had about 20ish. They really showed that they cared and made me as comfortable as possible during this traumatic time in my life. After that, my baby spent months in the nicu. He is still there and I am very pleased with the care they are giving him as well. I am so blessed to have been at tch for all of this shenanigans, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! Shout out to Dr. Gandhi for delivering my little miracle boy!
Yesterday I was at the Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, a big applause to all the people that work there, everyone was so helpful and did all they had to do and some more, thank you for all u did. highly recommend this place in case ur kids need to have any surgery, it was hard seeing all the little ones crying but believe me they try everything to make them feel better.
Es n excelente hospital las personas tratan muy bien ya he tenido experiencia con mi hija a tenido dos cirugías y los médicos son excelentes tratan muy bien a las personas.y en general todo es bueno.
From the moment we walked through the doors of TCH until we walked out 3 days later the entire staff was very attentive to my son and my needs but especially his needs. The nurses and the doctors were very thorough and concerned about my son's health. I hope we never have to admit him again but if that is necessary we will go to TCH on Fannin.
An unfortunate infection fortunately sent us to Texas Children's Hospital. My words will not describe well enough how these professionals made me and my son feel. From the minute my son arrived, he was given the immediate care he needed to manage his pain and assess the appropriate way to handle his illness. The support staff, nurses (Lovie & Kaylan) & ENTs were more than just professional. They were personal and caring towards us and more importantly my son. I have been taking my son there for the past 5 years. I have seen about 8 doctors different specialties. I am very very pleased.. but I do have some favorite doctors. Although everyone is great I still have favorite doctors. I've gone to the Woodlands , Sugarland, and downtown campus. He will probably go there for the rest of this life but I'm happy there.
We came from Louisiana to TCH bc we were told that our 9 yr old daughter had a Brain Tumor ! JPA ..... shortly and I mean like 5 min after arriving they immediately started seeing about my daughter and got the ball rolling ! It was only a couple of hours and after many Doctors we had a game plan ! The next day she had surgery to remove the tumor ! 4-1/2 hours she was done !
