Family advocacy are just employees of Texas Children's Hospital. They are a form of customer service, except instead of doing the right thing, they have the Hospitals and Doctors interest at heart instead of the patients. Even when second and third opinions from other doctors prove TCH doctors wrong.
BUYER BEWARE!!! TCH bills EVERYTHING, even standard office visits as hospital services WITHOUT notification of its billing practices. I will NEVER AGAIN use Texas Children's Hospital for anything. I took my daughter to a regular physician's appointment and afterwards was billed as if I had taken her to the hospital. I would NEVER have consented to treatment if I had known the doctor's visit would be billed as a hospital visit. Amazing Staff all the way around we are blessed beyond word
Wonderful doctors, after leaving 2 different hospitals with wrong diagnosis on our 2 week old baby boy we came here. My son had gotten very sick and wasn't keeping any formula nor breast milk down, he was having forceful vomiting (projectile vomitting). We decided to bring him to the Tx Children's hospital, right away they took him into a room and after explaining what was going on, they ordered an ultrasound to confirm what they said could be a blockage in the small intestine. What a wonderful, caring place to be if one has to be sick. Very attentive. All the staff goes out of their way to take care of the whole family and treat them like one of their own. I can not tell you how much this means to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
My son was born here 3 years ago and they were amazing. He had congenital diaphragmatic hernia and they did everything they could to make my son healthy and perfect. Now he is 3 years old and is perfect. I will always greatly appreciate this hospital and everybody who took care of him.
