At first they were very willing to accommodate us as a family traveling out of state concerning my sons rare disorder. Only problem was the closest appt was 6m in advance. We made it,scheduled travel ( hotel and flight ) for this appointment. It was made very clear to then that we were from out of state,etc. We had special tests that needed to be done same day. 1 week before they called me to “reschedule”. They did a Great Job! The were very professional and thorough.
My daughter was diagnosed with Wolf/Parkinson/White syndrome and her cardiologist insisted we go here for her heart ablation. Dr Valdes and Dr Howard were great with explaining what all was going on and did great on the procedure. All the nurses and staff treated us great, especially Barbra in admissions and Rose in the recovery room. I hope no one reading this ever has to take a child to the hospital, but if you do, they treat you right there.

We spend a lot of time at TCH. Our medically complex baby has had multiple surgeries, ER visits, admissions and follow up appointments in the last 18 months. I tell everyone about how great TCH is. Most recently we were admitted on Christmas Eve. The hospital was so great about making the holiday feel special, and the surgeons helped to get us home for Christmas. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Wonderful hospital they love us all like family and they are helping keep my baby cancer free.

Had to take my 3 yr old on Saturday, 11/25, at about 1am due to an ear ache, the waiting area was packed with people that said they’d been there since about 9 pm and still hadn’t been seen. They said the wait time was 8-9 hrs just to see a Dr. After about an hour they gave my daughter some Tylenol and said to keep waiting. At about 4am my baby said her ear felt a little better and we ended up just going home. Horrible experience. $8 for parking and a little Tylenol.
