I am a new patient and Dr. Makkena and his staff are exceptional. Dr. Makkena didn't make me feel like he was in a hurry and went over my records thoroughly. His staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to being under his and his staffs' care.
This is the wonderful doctor who saved my life. I was very apprehensive about the upcoming heart cath procedure. Dr. Makkena explained the procedure well during each step, remained calm and composed and eased my anxiety.

I was a long time patient of Dr. Qureshi and he had a very high opining of Dr. Makkena so when Dr. Qureshi passed I ask Dr. Makkena to take me on.
