Dr. Makenna's staff is very professional, courteous and efficient. Dr. Makenna's patient rapport is the way all doctors should do it. He's very attentive and actually listens to you. You never feel like he's trying to rush to the next appointment. You get all the time that you need. I have not needed his OR skills yet, but many lives have been saved by his legendary expertise. Feel very blessed to have him as my cardiologist!
Good doctor- listens and answers any questions you have. Nice office staff.
Thanks to Dr. Makkena I have found a cholesterol lowering drug that works and does not make me sick.
Dr. Makkena was the Dr on call when my husband recently had a heart attack. He is an awesome Dr., very courteous and explains everything. He answered all our questions thoroughly. We are very lucky that he was on call!!

Had heart attack 3 years ago and was air evac. To Denton. Dr on call was Dr. Makkena. Recovery continues to improve over time and I am better today than any over this time. I drive 3 hrs each way to seek his care and approval of care for my health. As good as you can find.
Dr. Makenna is very thoughtful and professionally courteous. You can tell he sincerely cares and is willing to invest his time is resolving your health issues. I have nothing but confidence is his willingness and ability to fix my current health issue.
Dr. Makkena is one of the most kind physicians i have met. Listens to my concerns. I find a good change in my health and i am well cared for by him. Thank you and love you Dr. Makkena!
Nothing much to tell about my visit except... It was fantastic.. The staff is very nice and Dr. Makkena, well he is exceptional .. He takes very good care of his patients.
