Dr Makkena is a very understanding doctor that takes all the time needed to understand a patients concerns.
New patient, wonderful visit from start to finish. Dr. Makkena did not rush me answered all my questions and listened to my concerns. Everyone in the office goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed.
My wait time was very short and all Office personnel were very polite and helpful Dr Makena was very polite, courteous, and helpful He was very knowledgeable and helpful with my problem I would recommend to anyone. He is very caring and it shows,
Everyone is so friendly and thoughtful in this office, and we dearly love Dr . Makkena He is a doctor, who cares about each of his patients, and takes the time to visit with you. We feel very BLESSED to have him for our doctor!!!

After two visits (for treatment of Afib and an upcoming heart Catheterization) and after doing some research on Dr. Makenna, I’m just happy that my family physician recommended him. He is very attentive, he explains everything thoroughly and comes across as a very approachable doctor. Also the nurses at the hospital said that he is a top cardiologist and very pleasant to work with. I like him.
I met Dr. Makkenna a couple of years back when I was in the hospital. His concern then and now mean a lot to me. He doesn't seem like one of those walk in, say a few words and leave. He explains a lot and listen to your concerns. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Very friendly & helpful office staff. You feel like Dr. Makkena cares about you and takes the time to discuss any problem you have.
