Telstra was notified of my account closing on January 30 2017. They agreed I did not owe them a cancellation fee as I was going overseas and had leased my house for 2 years. I have returned to Australia but have. No fixed address and no fixed line. Telstra billed me for disconnection anyway. I got them to agree it was invalid. Fine they sent me a bill for reconnection. I have no account with them. They threatened me with ruining my credit rating snd more if I didn't pay them. Once again contacted and was told by the operator... read more

Technically, Telstra is by far number one, with daylight second. When you can get 5 bars of 4G in Boulia, Western Queensland there's not much to complain about. HOWEVER !!! Administratively it's like dealing with Monty Python on Acid !! Just as I'm just coming down from a 4 month saga that all started because I wanted to change my Bigpond 4G plan, today it takes a half hour phone call and two operators to cancel an redundant secondary email address. Telstra really ??? With any other ISP I could have done it on line, in five ... read more

Telstra are an awful company, they only look after themselves and don't care about the public in general, if your making a decision for a telecommunications company, don't consider Telstra they will rip you and your family off

Useless. The most stressful people on the planet. Moved 20 days ago and still having problems.. Spend most of my time everyday waiting for them to call me back.. Today I text called and emailed at lunchtime it's now 8.30pm and I have not had a call back. They are billing me for god knows what and sending it to the old address STILL. I am sick of them apologising for their mistakes, assuring me that it is sorted etc.. And if one more person calls me MAM I am going to lose it.
