My dad was a member of TD bank and had a TD credit card for years. Last December while he was in the hospital recovering from a stroke his TD credit card account was compromised. Due to the breach of security his account was put on a security hold. We’ve made nearly a dozen calls to resolve this issue. The bill is past due and when we try to pay it he payment is refused because of the hold. My dad’s credit score has dropped 40 points due to this. I'm sure all the people are lovely, but I have consistently had issues getting assistance over the phone. Today I spent from 2:15 to 4:15pm on hold waiting for customer service before I was simply disconnected. Yesterday their wait time was 1 hour both times I called for help with web transactions. I would use email to talk to customer service, but there is not a chat option and email warns you that it's a min 24 hr turnaround for your question to be answered. have not been able to log on for days... customer service keeps making suggestions as if it is my device.. like so many others on this page are saying, it is not my device, it is an internal problem on your end and you are not fixing it.
for goodness sake - ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!. They should be embarrassed with how poorly this "upgrade" went.
Online and mobile banking down. Can't access my account, can't pay bills, can't transfer money. Not at all good.
