There are issues with the boundaries on this estate, their reasoning is it's due to the plans not accounting for widths of retaining walls and causing an "ongoing" effect. So it's not just my property with issues. What's worse is I had already pointed out a boundary issue prior to completion and they sold the house to me with reassurance that the boundary was fixed. 8 years of road works on a main road towards staffordshire university. Pathetic. Should be sued.
Brilliant sales team. But be careful, have a pre completion snagging meeting and get what you can rectified before you exchange! Don’t let them rush you into things like I did. From the Taylor Wimpey head office you have a right to raise snags before you complete! I didn’t know it at the time but I wish I had… over 100 snags, just be prepared.
1 star is too much for this review but this is the lowest one can rate. Avoid, avoid, avoid. If you want to buy a new build - find a different developer, please. Taylor Wimpey will tell you anything in order to make a sale and they fob you off afterwards at every chance they get. Me and my partner ignored the negative comments and now we’ve been told everything faulty in our newly built house is our fault somehow. Please make sure you join Facebook group before you buy x
