User review by angel111 – I was there last Thursday with my friends for a birthday party. I had nissiotiko swordfish and my boyfrind ordered lamb chops. Absolutely Delicious!! The music was the best mediterrenian I have heard so far in Atlanta. Dj Aris played every song we asked for. The drinks were not that great and the waitor not so friendly. Other than that, everything was AWSOME!!
Go for the Fun Not the food! – A fun palce to go with a group to watch the dancers and listen to the music, the food is not very good! Really Greasy, and not well prepared. Would not go back to eat, but maybe have a drink!
Bad food, bad service, decent atmosphere – We reserved a table for 20 but got one for 15. Several people had to stand up during dinner. ervice was terrible! Those that got the family style meal did not get everything that was ordered. The dishes had tiny portions that did not go very far. Major Disappointment – Wow... What a let down. We made reservations early on New Year's Eve. We were the only customers in the restaurant. They sat us on the patio, which was FREEZING! and ignored us for quite a while. We didn't get theappetizers that were included in the price of the dinner. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. Then the waiter added a 20% gratuity, which he didn't deserve or inform us ahead of time that he was going to do! Simply Amazing! – I've been to the amazing restaurant a few times, never a wait. The servers at Paka are excellent and the food it great. There was excitement in the air. As youre enjoying your meal the belly dancers come around for more fun, just bring your dollars ;). Reservations would be cool but not always necessary. GREAT PLACE!!!! – Some friends and I just were there not to long ago, and we had a fantastic time. Great food and great fun!! The service was excllent. We had this one waiter named Derrick ( I think the only American that works there ) Very nice and was always there for anything we needed! So ask for him. With that, the bellydancers and the music, all and all we give Plaka two thumbs UP
Birthday party heaven!! – My friends and I have had two or three large birthday parties in this lovely establishment. Get there early so you can hear each other but WATCHOUT!! At eight or eight thirty they turn the music up (think greek club music) and the bellydancers come out. This was the BEST place!! – I went with 4 of my friends, and we had the best time! The waiter was very nice and helpful in choosing what to get. The belly dancer was great, as well as all the other people dancing. The atmosphere was *awesome*, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the Gyro, shaved roast lamb. YUM!!
