Won't Go Back – While the food was decent and the restaurant was a fun experience, we nor our friends or family will ever come back. The manager was the most unprofessional mgr at a restaurant that I've ever seen. She tried to start a fight with us because she was stressed out. She has no customer service skills and just a plain ugly attitude. Glass in your food is a problem that needs to be taken care of I'd say. Also, the parking lot is a disaster. Great food and service! – Great food and atmosphere!!! It is a lot of fun. Be prepared to dance on the tables. We stayed all night and the music changes and the atmosphere.
Love Plaka! – I went to Plaka for the first time with a group of about six friends. We must have gotten there before peak hours because there was no one else in our seating area but the night crowd started to arrive as we were leaving. Our waiter was very friendly and energetic and all the food was fresh and delicious. Great ambience, fun atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.
bad service but great music – We moved from new york a year ago, and we used to go always out to mediterranean places, we thought that plaka would be the same, but we were wrong. IS ALL FAKE. the food, the service, managers, rudeeeeeeeeee exept the music, is the only thing mediterranean there . dj arti great job, good guy!
Fun – Good food and fun, casual atmosphere. Friendly waitstaff. They have small plates for sharing and large entrees, too. Great for groups, but you may want a reservation on busy nights.
worst experience ever – Food is good, but the service was horrible!! It's a fun place, but the managers were extremely rude! Our waiter was missing for 30 minutes, orders were wrong and we had to pay full gruitity. I will never go back again!!!
Mediocre food and not great service – Very very bad food, everything tasted overcooked or old, the complimentary hummus was ok, but I feel sick nothing was worth comming back from, find another place to eat Greek food. The service was ok. There was a very average belly dancer (my partner used to work for a morrocan restaurant were they really had some amazing belly dancers) but she never came to our table, maybe we didn't look like big tippers!.
Disappointed Before Leaving the House! – Our bad experience happened before we even got to the restaurant. I made reservations this past week at 7:00 as recommended by the lady on the phone. We had 8 people who were going to be there. Right before I left tonight, I called the restaurant to see if they could seat 10 people at our table since another couple decided to join us. Awful Service – From the beginning of entering the restaurant, my friends and i were greated rudely. The restaurant manager specifically was completely unprofessional and rude. When we were finally seated, the service was awful even though the restaurant was not even that busy. The food was good but it was not worth the awful service or the high prices. I would not recommend this restuarant to anyone. Awful place!!
