Great Atmosphere The Tavern is located in the center of Westfield. It is a great spot to go out and have dinner and drinks. Food is excellent. The staff is very friendly. There is always entertainment on the weekends.
Downtown dining The Tavern is located at the former Post Office on the Green in downtown. It is casual and friendly, and is a great spot to go after work for drinks and pub grub. The restaurant menu is traditional, pricing is fair, and portions are good. The paper napkins and place mats cheapen it somewhat, and the acoustics are very loud as well.
Tavern Restaurant Best steak in town! We meet friends there for dinner as its location in the center of town is very convenient. The atmosphere is nice but it can get rather loud at times. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. I recommend the Tavern quite often to family and friends.
Great Place to Eat The Tavern is a great place to have lunch, dinner, or just a snack. I have eaten here at all three times and had great service and great food each time. I've also handed out gift certificates for other people to enjoy.
Nothing Great..Music is better than the food Geez I must have a high standard because we are not crazy about this place. The food is your standard bar food with little taste and usually luke warm on arrival. It is a tight squeeze at the bar to eat if it is busy. I think it is overplaced for the quality. They have live music and there is very limited parking which can be difficult.
Tavern TheTavern is a nice restaurant located near the green in Westfield. There is plenty of parking and not too crowded. The food was very good. I loved the bar area. Prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly and efficient.
Good food, good atmosphere at a reasonable price We've had a good meal each time we've gone to the Tavern. It's great for a night out for two or with the whole family. If you like artichokes, try the appetizer. It's wonderful!
Good local restaurant The Tavern is a good restaurant when you want to eat close to home. The atmosphere is not the best. It is extremely dark. The menu is good. The prime rib is great! They offer it on Thursdays and Sundays. The portions are good and the service is good. Overall, I like going here when we don't want to travel far to eat.
Tavern one of favorites in area The Tavern on the Green in Westfield is one of my favorite places to eat in the area. The atmosphere has a tendency to be loud but has an unusual setting. I think the prices tend to be higher but well worth the portions that are given. The Italian entrees are personal favorites with extremely large portions: enough for a few meals!
