Tavern Restaurant We have been here a few times during lunch and we found it to have good food and good service. I was a little wary the first time we went because I thought it was a bar but was pleasantly surprised by the dining room. Glad they are finding good uses for the old buildings.
Tavern one of favorites in area The Tavern on the Green in Westfield is one of my favorite places to eat in the area. The atmosphere has a tendency to be loud but has an unusual setting. I think the prices tend to be higher but well worth the portions that are given. The Italian entrees are personal favorites with extremely large portions: enough for a few meals! The Tavern This restaurant is a great place. The food is very well priced and you get huge portions. There is a wonderful atmosphere and the service is always excellent
The food here was terrible, and the service too. I also would not bring in any children because I witnessed a patron being abused by the owners friend and nothing was done about this ignorant bully of a man.

Very disappointing meals My husband and I took our son to The Tavern last night for his birthday. He is a college student, we live 90 minutes from Westfield. Management was friendly, the service was great. My husband and son had clam chowder which they said was delicious. I ordered a ceasar salad, the lettuce was very poor quality, along with a total of two croutons for an additional dollar more than the tossed salad. The rolls were hot and very good. Nice Meal The Tavern Restaurant has a very nice menu. The service is prompt and the food is always very good. The restaurant is also a restored historical site in Westfield.
