The Tavern Restaurant Westfield Have you tried their Beef Marsalla? It's DELICIOUS! The dining room is comfortable, maybe just a bit crowded at times. The waiters and waitress go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. I love the band, Built for Comfort, that plays there often! A great place to meet up with friends and family.
A pleasant surprize Someone gave us a gift certificate to the Tavern and we almost gave it away because we thought it was a bar joint. We went anyway and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the prices were fair. We had sandwiches and something light. The service was friendly and we didn't feel rushed to get out. I recommend the Tavern for lunch or an early dinner.
A great place to eat The Tavern keeps with the tradition of its predecessor on Columbus Ave. and the South End location with great dishes, service and atmosphere. Great sausage & ziti!
Tavern Restaurant The Tavern Restaurant is a great place to go and get a good meal at a reasonable price. The food is very good and the bar is small but nice. The employees are great..very friendly. The owner, John, is always around to greet you while you are there.
great restaurant and bar They have a great menu. Wide variety of choices. I have never had a bad meal here. The bar is very scenic. Two story ceilings. This is a great place to get together with friends.
Nice night out Went to watch a play off game for the Red Sox. The service was very good. The appetizers we not so great but the dinners were very good. Would definately recommend the Tavern to others for a night out, my expectaions were exceeded.
Tavern on the Green Great food, but quarters are a little tight and noise level is a little high It was a little hard to have a conversation without having to yell across the table. The atmosphere itself is great.
Good food The Tavern on the Green has great food. We have fun playing Keno while we eat dinner in the bar area. The service is friendly and the food is always good. I recommend it.
Night Out? We had an early dinner on a Sunday afternoon. The place was not very busy, so I had assumed that we would have been waited on promptly. Boy was I wrong. The waitress took 3 trips to finally get our order correct. When the food came, it was good. But after waiting nearly 50 minutes for a steak, I wasn't really happy anymore. The food was good, the service was poor. The price of the meal was reasonable. Not a bad place if your not not hungry going in.
