Restaurant week lunch was one of the best I've ever had anywhere. The salmon was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was so relaxed and lovely.
Outstanding! We went for brunch after many years of not being back to NYC and it was absolute perfection. My salmon was cooked just as I like it and my father's eggs Benedict was delicious. Believe it or not, the pastry basket stole the show! Service was attentive and thoughtful. They even surprised my dad with a birthday dessert! Can't wait to get back to NYC to visit again for dinner!
Great atmosphere and drinks were really good. Need to have lunch there next time
It is not the Tavern on the Green of my youth but a more modern hip version - gone are the heavy fabrics but it still has an amazing atmosphere and vibe. The staff couldn't have been more courteous - just need a bit more seasoning that will come with experience and although a private party bumped us into another section we were none worse for the rearrangement - I would love to explore it again in the warmer weather - seems to have a wonderful outside section that I don't recall from the older version. Great staff and great food! My wife got the cauliflower dish and it was fantastic!
Great service great bar tender went well out of her way when she ran out of a mix for our drinks. She ended up making her own mix for our cocktails. The food was the best for my first meal of the day!!!
Just wonderful, the Tavern Burger was perfect and the service was excellent!
We had a blast (my nephew is a manager), the food is fantastic, over the top! The service was fantastic. We would come back regardless of my nephew. Good food is always a plus our waiter Moustafa was excellent. If you're going to do a high end restaurant in NYC, Tavern On The Green is a must.
I will definitely come back in spring time. Looking forward to enjoying lunch at the beautiful courtyard. I was here for dinner on a cold drizzling night. The restaurant atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant, the food was very good, the menu is not extensive but the food choices are pretty healthy.
