Well, this place brings fond memories as we got engaged there. So we tried to recreate the momumental moment from 9 yrs ago and much to our surprise we were highly disappointed. The ambiance is horrible, it went from rustic and cozy to white and stuffy. The wait staff was rude and the food was just okay. This is not the old Tavern and the food was not worth the price. Beautiful place! Excellent lunch, venue was amazing!
Service excellent, food between average and good. Plus that they offered a kids menu. Location decorated beautifully except for the atrium extension we were seated in. A little chilly and you couldn't really see outside. Took some great holiday pictures in the courtyard and by the fireplaces. For $750 for four adults and a child with no alcohol I would expect better or bigger portions of food for the price we paid. Staff was very nice and we were seated exactly at our reservation time.
The food was delicious and service too but most of all I wanna thank the cooks and everyone for their hard work because without them we wouldn't have had an exquisite Christmas dinner
Great renovation and food...love it at the Tavern!!!
Just stopped in from a walk in Central Park for a drink. Had an eggnog with rum and it was delicious!
My grandma and I visited for lunch and everything was splendid. The food was exquisite! Highly recommended!
