Awesome theme celebration brunch for St. Patrick's Day, we loved it! ��
The new TOTG is awesome! We were there over 10 years ago and it was a beautiful place. But the renovated building is fresher and more welcoming. Expensive ($$$) but well worth it. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly and the food was really exceptional...better than I remember it being before. Wish we could have stayed into the evening as the bar area was very inviting, too!
Sat at the bar. Kris our bartender was a treasure! Atmosphere can't be beat. So New York. A must stop when in town!

The atmosphere was elegant, yet warm and inviting. The brunch menu was perfect, and the bacon is worth every penny. Spectacular. The Peach Bellini was crisp and delicious, and their take on the breakfast standard Bloody Mary is worth experiencing. The Brioche French Toast was perfect, but the hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict could have had a little more tartness. The service was very prompt, the wait staff was attentive without being intrusive, and it was a delightful experience from beginning to end.

Sorry to say that the Tavern did not live up to my expectations, it is a beautiful setting, but they seem to be living off thier former reputation. The menu had 5 entrees, one of which was a $39.00 hamburger. They did have two specials-a pork chop or short ribs-but no signature dishes and nothing I couldn't have had in 100 other less expensive restaurants!
