Two years ago exactly, Northwestern University played in the Big 10 championship football game in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium almost across the street from Tavern on South. I organized a private lunch party at the restaurant before the game for about 82 people. Everything was just wonderful. We were in town visiting for the zoo over the weekend, this place was right next door to our hotel making it super convenient. The gentlemen who seemed to be running the place was super nice when we accidentally parked in their parking lot when we first arrived to our hotel so that was our first impression so that helps draw you in when it came time to eat. All the staff we interacted with were great and friendly, food was really good!
