Proactiv is a great example of a company that makes it necessary to have 'easy cancellation for subscription' laws. They make it unbelievably hard to cancel. No online option, only available during their business hours, you must talk to a customer service agent who will needlessly keep you on the line, pitching other plans again and again. What a terrible company. ******.
Subscription was cancled, says so when signed into website, yet they continue to charge your account and send unwanted products. Please beware they are predatory *** dishonest
I canceled my subscription but they still kept charging me. I have to file with the bank on 2 separate occasions of when they charged my account without my consent. Beware of the company. Very unethical.
They have charged me double and a few times triple in one month for the past 6 months. Refuse to give me my money back and I asked how many subscription I have and they said one. The credit card company said that someone there is using my card. I have noticed odd charges on my card which I have reported. Dont buy from them.
Proactiv made it virtually impossible for me to cancel a subscription after repeated failed attempts to modify the subscription that my daughter signed up for. The online links do not work and then when you message them they keep you holding so for long (over 30 minutes in a online chat) that they likely hope you give up. Even after cancelling the subscription, they would not allow me to remove my credit card and said that I still owed $24.95 even though it was set up as an automatic payment. Hello, I placed the order on December 3d, my **************** card was not excepted many times, I understand now why because of their good protection policy. Instead the option was to pay with paypal, I used it but the shipping and billing address got changed and order was placed with a wrong shipping address. Makes it impossible to cancel subscription. The whole thing is a scam and I cant believe they are still in business.
Theyre truly a scam. I just signed up with them today and my order came up to $35 dollars. Once I placed my order theres a remaining balance of $70. I called them to cancel my subscription and order, and they told me its too late to cancel my order when it hasnt even been shipped yet. They are a total scam looking to steal money from people.
