This is the worse company ever. I would continually get billed an outrageous amount and have had to call them every time to get the price adjusted. On 12/18/17 I called because I was smelling gas and got a voicemail. I left a message and got a call back the next day. I informed the girl that I was smelling gas and that I also needed a refill. She asked me how much I had and I said about 20%. They sent a repair guy out same night to fix the gas leak (the only good thing they did) and supposedly scheduled a propane deliver. On... read more

My experience with this company is very negative. If there was another gas company that I could use, I would in a heartbeat. For the last two yrs they have not read my meter 6-7 months consecutively from may-nov. roughly. Management is very unprofessional. Had new gas water heater installed two yrs ago so I’m stuck using gas. If I had know Heritage propane was changing to this company I would have installed electric water heater. I purposely don’t use my gas central heat and use electric heaters instead. If you call to compl... read more

I called almost a week ago to get propane and still didn't get any delivered. Rude customer service at the local office. I have two young children I can't run out of fuel. You guys need to get your asses in gear. Never doing business with you ever again. Don't even wanna give you a one star.

It's 5 degrees outside. I have been calling Amerigas for the past 4 days telling them my propane tank is below 15%. I was promised delivery Thursday, then Friday, and when I called again yesterday they assured me they were on the way. Now it's Sunday, and my tank is 5%. Office closed, no truck. I have been on hold with their national office for over 15 minutes. Do not use this company for your LP delivery. They are unreliable.

I prepaid for a propane delivery. The invoice I received a few weeks after delivery (dated 11/10/17) indicated that I had overpaid $17.66. Nearly 2 months later (1/5/18) I still had not received my refund. I called about it and was told they would process the refund that day. I asked if they wait until they hear from the customer before processing refunds and the representative said YES, they don't see it (that a refund is due the customer).

On 12/26/17, I contacted Amerigas to deliver propane to my house. Amerigas was advised that my tank was 25% full but extremely cold weather was coming. We set the delivery date for 1/2/18. In the morning of 1/2/18 called to verify that delivery was coming. Amerigas confirmed that delivery was coming. No delivery and no call. On 1/3/18, called and was advised that delivery now scheduled for 1/4/18. In the morning of 1/4/18, I called to confirm delivery and asked for eta. Advised delivery scheduled but no eta. At 6:00 pm on 1/... read more

This company is absolutely terrible. After sorting through a bunch of billing issues, which are really only partially resolved, we can’t even get them to actually show up when they’re supposed to be making a delivery. They’re terrible, and I want to share this experience everywhere to prevent others from doing business with this company and having to experience the same frustrations. Choose any other company!

We were satisfied with our propane company for years, but then AmerGas bought them. After increasing the price for propane numerous times, we decided to switch to a different propane company which had much lower prices. In July I made the switch and told AmeriGas to pick up their tank. I called repeatedly for them to pick up the tank but it is now late December and they still haven't. They should be paying me storage!

Let me start off by saying I'm defiantly a patient person but, when it comes to this company I'm so over them. I moved to my current address 2 years ago. I rented tanks from Ameriagas and fuel for starters ($500 and some dollars for starters). I don't have many options in my area so I did it anyways. My first delivery was a week late, but I figured hey it's winter they are probably behind. When I first started my service I was receiving my fuel on payment plans. I'd pay $100 and some odd dollars and the rest was split into 4... read more
