Too bad I didn't check BBB before ever using Amerigas from Gordonville, PA. I have been a customer there for years. Last year they quoted a neighbor one fee per gallon and then a few hours later I called and they quoted me a much higher fee. Last week I was quoted a fee per gallon that "included the senior discount " as I was told and when I got my statement today, it was a penny higher than quoted. Was a customer for 1.5 years and in that time their customer service was poor. Of the dozen or so times I contacted their office about concerns they would always say somebody would call back the next day. Not once did anyone from their office call me back. Not once. I would have to call them on numerous occasions for follow up. Basically doing their job for them. On top of that they have the highest propane prices in the Moses Lake area. Avoid them like the plague, they obviously don't care about the smaller accounts.

I bought my own 500 gals tank from Ferrell in 2010. I filled it up once a year. I had the safety valve replaced in 2017 by Allstate when they filled up my tank. In 2018, Ferrell filled up my tank, and they did not say anything wrong with my valve nor my tank. In March 2019, I ordered 200 gals from Amerigas. They filled up my tank instead, total 346 gals. Worst company on the planet, they overcharge for everything, employees are very rude,they lie cheat and steal from the customers. Stay away from this organized crime syndicate.

I would rate a zero if it was available. I had Cress Gas for probably 20 years if not more. All of a sudden, my fill up bills double and tripled. I read online that they are now Amerigas. I thought it was just the price of gas going up. I called around and other companies were around 80 cents to a dollar cheaper per gallon. I contacted them and asked to remove the tank since I no longer wanted to do business with them. They did come out and take it, but sent me a bill for sixty bucks. The woman at the front desk gives me nothing but excuses and lies. The delivery guys have told me she's not honest or nice to customers. She waits until I'm out if propane All the Time then charges me a $150 emergency delivery fee. Terrible customer service. The only honesty I get is from the delivery guy. He's honest and helps light my pilot lights.

The only reason I am giving them 1 star is because I can’t give them no stars! This is the most disorganized company I have even encountered. No one ever answers the phone and they do not have an answering machine to leave a message. I have been charged fee after fee because my account is past due. They have never applied my past 2 payments to my account yet they have cleared my bank. I can’t get in touch with anyone in the office to even let them know. This is one of the worse companies I have had to deal with in a while. We purchased our home in summer of 2017 with a AmeriGas tank on it. It had quite a bit left so we gave them a try. First we had a gas leak from the tank burning from 60% down to 20% in a very short time. They proceed to to credit us a whopping $30 for all the gas lost and sent us a bill in the hundreds to refill it. This company does not value their customers. We inherited AmeriGas because they bought Shenandoah Valley Propane several years ago. I would have never chosen this company. They charge you any way they can. We currently have a 500 gallon tank. I called the Harrisonburg, Virginia office several days ago to inquire about downsizing our tank to a smaller one because we aren't using as much fuel.
