Horrible service, they slammed me with a bill for over 4 years after I have payment to their driver!! I switched
Terrible service. They charge roughly 3 times the average going rate for Propane, on top of tank rental fees. I finally switched to a different provider, and now they won't pick up their tank, which has been sitting in my front yard for near 2 months now. If you're considering this company as your provider, don't. It'll be nothing but frustration and bills that go up 30-40% every year.

Our pricing structure is outlined in our Terms and conditions which can be accessed anytime at AmeriGas.com. Tank removal was attempted the week of 10/28/2019, however the ability to safely remove the tank was hindered due to damage on the tank which was explained to Mr. Jurkiewicz. The removal has been rescheduled for 11/8/2019, weather permitting.
Terrible service and deceptive. Out to scam people out of money using dishonesty. They deliver based on a forecast and if within their forecast you haven't had a delivery, then you owe tank rental. Well we don't get a delivery until after they charge us rent and there is no consistency with the cycle for billing. What a bunch of crooks!!!!!!!
They do not even deserve 1 star! Please do not ever never ever use this company! Our local Dover DE company was Paradee gas who sold out to AmeriGas - we "inherited" them when we bought our home - after letting us run out of propane, we had just come home with our newborn!, they stated in order for them to come out we HAD to sign an agreement - so we did, big mistake - we were stuck with them for over two years and had to pay their huge inflated prices - after two years I called to cancel our account, they stated I had to pu... read more

It is so sad that a company like this is allowed to do business in the State of N.H. I was a customer of theirs for years, and When their Propane prices kept climbing through the roof, I decided to switch companies. I was told by a Keene gas customer service rep, they do not reimburse for unused product in the tanks in N.H. when they are removed from your property. They owe me @ $400.00 in remaining unused propane. Please do your home work when seeking a propane co. ALL of the reviews on this site, can't be wrong.

Very bad customer service and they cheated me and said I did not cancel my service for this Year and I did in July and now will not leave me alone and keeps adding late fees to a $150 .00 cancellation fee but I made it very clear I did not want their services this year because the sign up fees for already being a customer, I paid 250 a month all last year and then still got a over charge of $625.24 and now this year saying I have to pay &300.00 a month, we are 2 people leaving in a 2100 QF house but shut all unused rooms off... read more

AmeriGas apologizes for any poor customer service encounters that may you have experienced. After review of your account, it appears that an agreement was made between the local district manager and Mr. Palloni. It was agreed that you all would use any propane left in your tank and would call the local office when ready for removal. In addition, Mr. Palloni agreed to make payment of $798.00 after the local district manager gave a credit of $135.00 as a courtesy.
They came and replaced my tank and told me it was empty at 0%. I know for a fact the tank was not empty. It wasn't full either but at least had 20 to 25%. Dishonest company and highest price around. Frustrated with poor service and high price. I will be buying my own tank and ditching Amerigas.

Unfortunately, we are unable to locate an account under the last name Sullivan with the zip code 22630. If Mr. Sullivan is able to provide us with the account holder's information we would certainly like to review the issues that have been mentioned above.
They are OVERPRICED and don't give CREDITS. My Father is on a fixed income and they wanted to charge him at a prebuy of 2.50/gal. after shopping around I found it and purchased a yr with a new tank that he now owns at $1.17/gal. when I asked for a credit and any un-use gas, they refused, when we asked to pump it out and transfer to the new tank, no answer. IF I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO I WOULD. Due to MAJOR customer service issues with VINCE, and recent over billing issues for services not rendered we decided to look into our account in further detail. Silver star road office AmeriGas has been over billing and over charging us on multiple items. Current bill on recent tank fill was $5.40 a gallon when every other company in central Florida is charging the current rate of $2.00-3.00 a gallon !
