This is a mixed review, but I always start with the positives. I've reviewed hundreds of hospitality venues, and always give positives and negatives, because that's what reviews are for. The location is wonderful, up a steep, narrow road, so very private and with lovely mountain views. It's a country house, and run along those lines, so very welcoming as you arrive and enter what seems like a family home, with plenty of public rooms and facilities. Really quiet, and relaxed stay in the middle of the Welsh countryside, really close to snowdon and surrounded by great walks The owner and staff are extremely friendly, on our first day he greeted us at the door, gave us a tour of the hotel and our room, and some information about the hotel and the local villages history. Cosy place, quiet and peaceful. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were pleasant and comfortable. Lovely breakfast. Definitely a nice place to stay.
We stayed at this idyllic mountain hideaway for 2 nights. I wished we could’ve stayed longer. The 18th century building was maintained very nicely, the hosts and staff were amazing and the breakfast superb. You must give this magical place a try.
