I stayed at Sutton Hall Resort (Ryedale cottage) the night before my wedding in Thirsk. The location is fantastic and only a 10 minute drive from Thirsk town with ample on site car parking on the grounds. We booked some of the facilities (the pool and the sauna) thanks to the easy booking system on the QR code in the welcome pack, you get 30 mins in each facility for the booking but can be extended if available. We stayed here when we went to a family birthday celebration. The advertising and promotional of this accommodation is very misleading. Sometimes referred to as a hotel and sometimes as a resort. So we booked it thinking it was a hotel. When we arrived there was no staff on site. The link they sent with directions to our accommodation wouldn’t open so we wandered around trying to find someone to ask, all we found was a mobile number to ring someone who directed us to where we were staying. This is a hidden gem of a place the facilities are fantastic the house and accommodation beautiful and comfortable and the grounds stunning and to top it off the staff are very friendly and welcoming Close enough for access to the Yorkshire Dales and the Northumberland coast
