The Doctors at sutter health are the best I have ever had . Because of my physician Dr Balon, I have stayed with this clinic for well over 15 years. very, very pleased.
Visited for annual check with appointment. When I lined up in the queue for “with Appointment “ , the African American lady at the front desk asked me to re-line up in“ Without Appointment” line for Lab. This doesn’t make sense.
If you go here for a preventative visit or annual checkup, check your Explanation of Benefits carefully. I went in for a standard preventative visit. The doctor's own notes explicitly stated "No significant issues." Yet, Sutter billed me for a separate, "Level 3" complex office visit on top of the preventative exam. 250+ dollars is charged for a 10-15 second discussion concluding no issue. Sutter Health is grown to become one of the most hated healthcare locations among a lot many of my friends and colleagues in the Bay Area. There’s hardly any availability when you need it, doctors are never on schedule. They’ll spend less than half the time you’ve paid for, and if you ask slightly off topic questions, they’ll have their office charge you a second visit!
