Recommendedin my opinion the Y is the best place for the wellbeing of people of Sussex County.
I have always had a hard time wanting to go to a gym or something. But at the Y, when I walk in, I can feel the warmth and I feel welcome. I feel like they really want me to be there. My 2 1/2 year old takes classes there, and she's getting so much smarter and is having so much fun with new friends! I am just so happy to be a part of it.
Great for kids as well as adults. Very friendly family atmosphere. Lots of great classes and activities. My main complaint is there are just too many fully naked people in the locker rooms. I’ve seen when there are kids in the men’s locker room and there’s some old guy stark naked walking around. There are a few little booths with curtains for privacy but hardly anyone uses them it seems. I just feel these people like to walk around naked in front of everyone, lol. I absolutely love the Sussex county ymca....this place is the shining star of Sussex county. And has the best customer service.
I would like to extend my extreme gratitude to all of your staff especially bob rose dale he did a outstandingly professional orientation with my son my god his attention to detail of every machine was truly impressive ,the gym the staff where wonderful any safety concerns I had vanished after talking to the very nice people at the front desk my son is kinda shy but mr rose dale made him feel confident and welcomed thanks again to you all at the y ��
Love going to the Y, have to get In early because it gets too crowded. Like to go by 7 am . Perfect time. The staff at the Y are always very pleasant.
