they "couldnt get it to launch bios" and i took it home and runs like normal, they charged me 45$ to see for an inspection. wouldn't go

Went in for laptop repair, my battery worked fine and turned on and ran perfectly, it just wouldn't charge,the only answer for them was to replace motherboard, not sure if they took any other routes in determining this answer, just gonna buy from Newegg and fix myself,....reply on edit since I could not reply,the replacement battery I installed is the one that worked, I had full access to my computer, the problem was the computer would not charge, the DC jack was the problem,the computer itself has a built-in prevention for ... read more

I really do love the Nerds. They are always available when I need them. I am 88 years old and, for my age, do pretty well with my PC. However, I am definitely not technically savvy when it comes to technical issues and The Nerds are patient and helpful. Today I had an issue with Excel. My Nerd took my computer over and solved my problem and gave it back to me all FIXED. LOVE MY NERDS
