Edit: Just been to Sunnyside for the 3 years and stayed in The Stable. Still give it 5 star's. So much space and especially if you have children. Loved the separate area with the hub tub. (Loved seeing the 2 little birds that flew in on a night) Will definitely be staying in The Stables again. Dom and Claire are honestly the best host's. Making you feel welcome as soon as you arrive and always on hand if you need anything or any recommendations. Had an amazing stay here last night with my partner. Scenery was beautiful on arrival and seeing the horses, ponies and sheep made it even better! The owner was very pleasant on arrival and directed us to our pod. The pod was lovely, clean and cosy and of course the hot tub was amazing. Only thing that was a downfall from the night (of my own doing) was the fact I came out the hot tub and went straight into the shower and fainted while I was in there and went straight through the shower door, shattering all the glass When I... read more

Had the most beautiful and relaxing stay at Sunnyside Lodges. The location is picturesque; surrounded by horses, sheep, cows and chickens. The lodge has such a great location with views of the Sanquhar countryside; overlooking fields, farms and hills that can be seen from the lodge and hot-tub. This made the stay that more enjoyable and relaxing. We had the best night in the lodge as the cleanliness is 5 stars and the appliances are handy.
