I visited this store on Tuesday 4th November. The member of staff was servicing by grabbing the food with his hands (in the gloves) and placing everywhere. I have subsequently had food poisoning. Avoid at all costs.
It was takeaway. Jacket potato with chilli, cheese and bacon plus meatballs. From the moment I have opened it - what the deuce! Sour stink! Got extra egg mayo (which I like) but mayo was off! Cheese uneatable (how many times it was re-labelled ?) It is not Stilton -why it tastes like one? And meat in potato - I think it is illegal! Meatballs (without cheese) acceptable but probably defrosted last. Definitely a NO NO
A convenient yet hidden little sandwich shop nestled within Thurrock services. Wonderful selection of bread and sandwich fillings both meat and vegetarian. I had the meatball marinara on Italian herbs and cheese bread, with lettuce, jalapeños, pepper, cucumber and spicy chipotle sauce. I’ve previously had bbq sauce which I think I prefer. All in all a great experience with helpful staff, outside of the hustle and bustle (which some would call chaos) of the main services.
