Dreadful! New screens which are complicated, didnt confirm payment or order and no receipt given had to check with staff. After another 10 mins wait had to ask staff again and they hadnt even started my order. We were the only ones in there! This was frustrating and I told staff member, got zero response, Manager in the back watching from afar... Hate the new touch screen experience as it took far too long. The entire place was full with customers waiting for orders for 30 minutes Staff didn’t communicate anything until asked, clearly it was chaos behind the counter as I watched. Food was in the wrong order, staff had to be told of what to do by one lady who must have been in charge . Machines do not work. Very slow difficult to use. I gave up and walked out. I told the staff it was not their fault and I am sorry they got landed with a system failure due to inadequate equipment and poor planning. Great example of how to damage a brand
Went into store to order and get discount with QR code ,did not work . So ordered on the app .put in order paid for it did the familiar ping to say money gone out but it took its time then flashed up that they were having problems with app . Went to speak a number of times to staff very rude both of them didn’t want to help even though we showed them proof of transaction.we are regular customers to subway .checked with bank and money has left account they say .
