Cancelled train meant I had to get food quickly, so was forced to try here. Laughed at the reviews and rolled the dice despite them. The middle-aged guy with the glasses and short beard served me, nice enough guy to me personally tbh but... Worst subway in the country. All problems appear to stem from the franchise owner. Very rude to customers and staff, always have very little stock so limited choices, often no hot drinks on, toilets locked, tables out of service, front door regularly locked at random times during opening hours with staff visibly inside, not being able to recieve or use loyalty points. Gave this place a few chances but neither me nor any of my work colleagues will set foot in here again due to the terrible customer service we have received. O... read more
I don't expect this Subway to be there next time we go to Carlisle. Worst subway I've been to. Stock missing - in my case no turkey, low on crisps and a grand total of three cookies (all the same type). Got no help trying to navigate the menu for allergies. The toilet was locked and most of the tables were made unavailable (presumably to minimise the cleaning work). There is another subway up the road in the main square.
Never open when it says it is. Person who runs it is rude to customers, like we're not even there.
