We looked at an used F150. The window sticker said $36,988. When we started talking price they jacked it up to $40,000. Extremely dishonest sales techniques. They also added items to the truck that we didn't want nor ask for.
Absolutely terrible experience with a Suburban Ford out in Sandy Oregon. My father tried to purchase a used F150 and the dealer said the usual we will get you in this truck today. Then we got to negotiate a deal part at which point he added 4k to asking price which was listed on the window because there was a "mistake" and pretended to discount it but ended up still being more than their asking price. This dealership lied about the condition of a truck that a family member bought. We were told that it was in great condition, no problems. Come to find out there are multiple issues with the truck, which were not disclosed before, including a severely rusted frame, cracked rotor, and the transfer case is bad. When we inquired about these issues with the dealership they were very rude and unprofessional and refused to follow through with the warranty (I’ve had the truck for a month).
