We ate at the bar. The bartender Brad was awesome. His service was spectacular and he was very friendly! The food was delicious as always! And plenty of it.
My favorite place for good "down home" cookin....they are known for their pan fried chicken....my favorite is their pork chops
Love the food, especially the Chicken Soup & Gizzards. Great & friendly service...always makes me glad I chose Strouds. A KC mainstay

We went for the first time and loved it. One of the appetizers is chicken fingers, we order that to start. They are actually chicken breast not fingers, they are huge, crispy and delicious. Their fried chicken dinners were amazing, we ate so much I think we hurt ourselves. They make their own ranch dressing which was awesome. Wish I could buy that for the house and don't forget the cinnamon rolls! Great service, friendly waitress. We will definitely be back for more.

Had chicken strips for appetizers was a meal by itself huge portions and very tasty. I had the 3 piece chicken meal with baked potato and chicken noodle soup very good as well. The wife had the chicken fried chicken meal with mashed potatoes. Very nice service they took care of us well. Deff going back soon.
Our server, Mary, was outstanding! We came right at 2:55, and she made sure to give us the lunch menu to save us some $$$! She also brought plenty of boxes, containers, and bags for our to go items. It was much appreciated.
