Reception staff were quick to answer my request for a new prescription, however booking an appointment has been impossible. I got a link sent to my phone at 9:30 - nothing available. It said appointments are refreshed at 8am and 10am - fine - I checked a few minutes past 10 and there was still nothing available. I will check again tomorrow, but I feel like it's a race to get to the first available appointment, which is very stressful as I will probably have to take time off work just for it. Nursing staff fantastic, care navigators....not (with exceptions), can't get to ask a simple question because "we can't take new queries due full capacity, try after the w/e" Was great before the move & amalgamation to the new surgery , going steadily downhill, looking at the reviews, I'm not the only one to feel that way ☹️
What a fabulous experience! I have to say, even though the NHS is on it's knees, so to speak, the team at Stroud Valleys Medical Practice have gone way out of their way and truly beyond the call of duty to provide such brilliant support for me over the past 24 hours. Day 7 of trying to get an appointment. I have visited the surgery in person twice this week and told both times to just “try again online tomorrow”. A tragic excuse of a doctors surgery - appalling treatment.
Had a really great experience of the surgery! They are responsive, quick to get appointments booked in and the staff are really lovely. And the doctors are kind and empathetic and really thorough. Would 100% recommend!
