False advertising on their deals! Buyer beware! I just went in to serpentini under the impression that we were approved because we got a pre-approval. Walked in and the first thing they did was run my credit. Yes we were approved however, they wanted $1500 down on top of my car as a trade in. I left empty handed, pretty upset. If your going to say credit does not matter and that your job is your credit then why was my credit run before they even asked about my income? I put my faith into this dealership only to be let down.

As a loyal GM customer, I found online that Serpentini had the truck I wanted. I drove 4 hours to purchase the truck and we agreed upon a number. Being an out of state resident, the dealership said they will cut us a check for my state taxes. Upon reviewing the documents, they added the taxes to our sales amount without telling us or explaining that the number would go on the sales amount. I went into the dealership after reading the ad and thought they were on the up and up. When I left they couldn't help me with the purchase of a truck. I had too much "negative equity" but they promised $5000 over blue book. I guess that doesn't work either. I was told that if we could reach an agreement they would work with financing. Two weeks later I get a letter that says they can't get me financed. When I called about the $500 they tell me they had a financing deal on a used Equinox.
