Such an awesome adventure for us all. There is so much to do and see that is all connected with this railroad. Already talking about another trip. My grandson has special needs and due to my physical handicap, my grandson sometimes misses out on a lot of adventures, but not this week!! Every employee was so helpful in enabling me to experience everything with my grandson despite my handicap and that made this trip an adventure of a lifetime for both of us. Great experience with the family. Went on President's Day weekend. Very, very cold but worth it. Gift shops are nice.
The 12th of Aug was my very first train ride I'm 21 and I felt like a child :) it was the open window car . It was great! Such a neat way of transportation!
Trains are just awesome
What a great place for children to adults....lots to see and do. Take a ride on the train and stop off a a ice picnic grove before returning. Climb up to see or in to see loads of old trains. Roam the outdoor rain yard or take the kids into the discovery room. A great value for a full day of funN
I just went to Strasburg this afternoon. Has to be the 120th time i went to the railroad. Felt like a kid again. Strasburg Railroad is a must go-to destination for any train lover.
I've been visiting the Strasburg Railroad at least annually since I could walk. 30 or so odd years later, this place still has the same magic and gives me the same feeling of excitement that it did when I rode my first train on this line (behind PRR #1223!). The Strasburg Railroad is highly recommended to everyone, from die-hard steam railroad enthusiasts to families with kids in strollers looking for a fun day out.
