We went in a larger group today with several small children and the Strasburg Rail Road beat my expectations. Each staff member was curteous and friendly; each activity we did was lots of fun and educational for the kids; and the entire area was immaculate. Absolutely wonderful experience and can't wait to go back!
This was a fantastic place to bring my 2 year old! We all loved it and had a great time. Thomas and Percy was so much fun too! Such a great family day out place!
We had the most wonderful experience with our grandchildren when we visited. Thomas the Train was the highlight of the day. The kids loved the ride and the other activities. I would recommend it to families with small children. Everyone was super nice too.
Many things have changed in the Strasburg Railroad area over the years, but the exceptional service and fun continue.

This was a great experience for my kids. All 3 had a blast however it was the kind caring people that helped make it even more special for my 2 boys who have special needs. My youngest is autistic and trains are his special thing. He still rambles on about the train and riding it. He didn't want to leave and he isn't one for big crowds of people but they made his day extra special. They also made sure my other son didn't get hurt trying to get off and on the train since his prosthetic leg was a bit of a hinderence on the ste... read more
I cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Day Out with Thomas yesterday. It was so well organized, the place was impeccably clean and the staff was just amazing! They made our day so special, from the temporary "tattoo artists" to the photographers to the train conductors and everyone in between. These people take such pride and joy in their jobs and it is certainly noticeable. Thank you for making our day out so special!
