Coming here for 42 years. Now I bring my grandson. We live only half an hour away , so I'm here like 5 times a year. Dead of winter , the place is closed , but we make a day of walking the tracks. I cannot fathom how Strasburg has maintained a "family friendly " place all these decades? Height of the season. .thousands of people. .never a foul word. So nice these days!! Bring your grandkids.. Lee recommends this place , with all 5 Starz

Every year we come up for Steampunk unLimited, and we never are disappointed. This weekend, with gorgeous weather, we're getting lost in the history and in the atmosphere. If you're not joining us today, make plans for 2017. This is an event you don't want to miss!
We visit several times a year. Always enjoy Strasburg. Today was our first time during the Steampunk Unlimited. Awesome experience. Everyone, including staff and participants, were friendly, helpful, and inviting. The costumes everyone wore, were beautiful and creative. Vendors had many interesting items. The cafe had a special British pub menu after 4:30. There were so many activities we almost didn't ride the train. Great day.
It was a wonderful experience the only thing was I wish it was a little longer.
We had a fabulous time!! My 18 month old loved every minute and we all had a blast!
I've been going to Strasburg Railroad since I was a little girl. I've been bringing my children since they were babies. It's always on our list whenever we head to Lancaster. We go every year to see Thomas, as well as taking the train to Cherrycrest Farm. We bought tickets for The Night Before Christmas Train ride this year too. Always a great experience whenever we visit.
The last train from yesterday was uncomfortable not what I spent from my second visit there
