This is our 2nd year at the Strasburg railroad for the Thomas the train event! The kids absolutely loved it so did the adults. Everyone was so professional with getting us on and off the trains and making sure the kids had an amazing time! We look forward tot his event every year with our family!
We brought our 18 month old son here yesterday for his first "Day Out with Thomas" and he loved it! Beautiful day and yes very organized for such a crowd and friendly staff! Would love to come back in the future :)
We have been out to the Strasburg Rail Road before, but with our oldest grandson. It has been 10 years and we are doing a repeat with the younger grandson. Only this time, we are doing Thomas. The younger grandson has done Thomas before. It was a very fun day. Our Grandson along with Mommy, Daddy and G-Pa and G-Ma had a blast. Rode Thomas and Percy. Took lots of pictures and had a wonderful day. I recommend this railroad for everyone. They have something for all ages...
The Trip and Dinner were Good .Train Ride to short.
We try and see Thomas every time he "visits" in Nov/Dec. All three of my boys have loved riding the train over the past 7 or so years. We drive 2 hours from NJ because Strausburg puts on the best Thomas experience around! The only issue we had was the Percy ride. It doesn't run as smoothly as Thomas since it's not a set time. But everything else is perfect! All 3 of my boys had a great time.
My first time riding first class on a train. Seats of green velour. On a beautiful sunny fall afternoon with my sister's in Christ. So enjoyable and peaceful.��
We were just there for Thomas' day out. It was crowded but very well organized. Our train reservation on Thomas wasn't until later so by the time we got there, parking was scarce. We used a parking lot in a field a little bit away but they had very efficient school buses going back n forth for everyone. They even considered extra space just to accommodate strollers...definitely thought of everything! My only wish was that they managed the time for the Percy train ride a bit better, which was first come first serve and it's t... read more

Great staff! This was my first ride on a train! I loved sharing "A Day Out With Thomas" with my 18 month old son and my beautiful wife! I would recommend coming early and devoting the whole day to the event. We were there 6hrs and still didn't get to see everything! The gift shops are top notch! I'll be coming back again some day!
