More for kids. I wish the ride was longer. It's only 9 miles round trip. The drive from home out to Strasburg is worth the trip. Beautiful countryside.

My wife and I first went to Strasburg in 1986 (30 years ago). We have returned to our favorite place a number of times taking our daughters with us. I have taken my grandson (just he and I) the last eight years, beginning when he was four. Truly it is a special and meaningful place that has shaped both of us. We had such a wonderful time! The kids are grown up now and decided to revisit just us two! Everyone is so nice and it's history at its best! Loved it.
First time taking a train ride. Inside the coach car made me feel like I was on the polar express. Floors were nicely waxed and shiny. The seats red plush and clean. The conductor came through collecting the ticket stubs. The trip was very informative, just wished it was a little longer.
Loved it such a fun day get the combo tickets worth it .
