RecommendedTo me the part I was most impressed with was that every person involved with my surgery yesterday came and introduced themselves personally before my operation. Even once I got to the OR another nurse or two came to me and said Hi. I thought it was great that they made sure I met all of them even though they put me under 2 minutes later. I think it really helped with the nervousness and anxiety before surgery. The Doctor had a meeting run late so we got started a few minutes late. My husband is currently in Stormont Vail. He is elderly and has been left to languish in pain of an abdomen. The only time I can get anything done at all is after midnight when he starts to crash and I ask for a transfer out of this facility. D/C has been planned twice for a man that is critically ill and the only testing is ordered when I beg for it. I have stayed for 6 days 24/7 in his room. I had an epidural steroid injection scheduled for 9 am. I got there early and was immediately admitted. Every process was explained clearly and I was released by 9:20 am. Excellent doctor and staff!!! Five stars (but I didn’t actually love it!)
The pediatric floor did an amazing job taking care of our 9 week old baby with RSV. The level of care was phenomenal and the reassurance and education they gave my husband and I as new parents is greatly appreciated.
Special shout out to the nurses during my stay on 5 north! They were so good to me. The nurses were so busy especially being short staffed due to the flu outbreak. They rocked! Had great doctors during my visit also.
