RecommendedI’d like to give a huge shout out to the nurses and staff on the 7th floor South wing of Stormont-Vail. I had watched Mom spend her last days in a hospital. (Not SVH.) I was there a lot. Anyway, I was more than a little scared to be in ANY hospital. These professionals made me feel so comfortable, so cared for and - dare I say it - loved. Do not trust this historic. You have a person by the name of Deborah yokum who literally bans patients. The ban you even of you have a question or concern. I was fired without proper notice due to some issues that I referred as patient abuse. I was literally exposed during an elf with the door wide open and no nurse present while other patients were going to their exam rooms. Another occasion, while getting a mammogram. Very very disappointed in stormont vail billing system. Was told when I first got pregnant that through my insurance I was 100 percent covered for my prenatal care and hospital stay. Started getting bills after my first sonogram and was told I was told I was 100 percent covered for everything "required to get the baby physically out of me." After birth I now have over $5k in medical bills through stormont vail and hospital.
