Leon is an excellent teacher and I enjoyed chatting with him too (he used to race!). Highly recommended if you want to learn how to drive manual.
I had a good experience. Leon was a very good teacher, he taught me everything i needed to know and made sure i had a good time.
After traveling to Europe, I realized it was about time I learned to drive stick. Automatic transmissions are hard to find when renting a vehicle. I had recently bought a manual car without ever owning one so I scheduled an appointment with Leon. He was not only a fantastic instructor but made sure I had a better understanding of what the car was doing with every action I took. He taught me the basics and gave me the fundamentals needed to start using the car. Very personable, calm and informative. I had previously gotten two hours of instruction with my neighbor to learn to drive a manual. If that was even the tiniest of a slope (a degree or less), I would constantly stall the car. After an hour (out of the three hours I did), I felt Leo had done an excellent job explaining to me how to get the car moving forward without stalling it, even on a variety of slopes in the parking lot we were in.
