This academy is highly recommendable for anyone who needs to know how to drive manual transmission. John was a patient teacher who explained why I should/shouldn't do certain actions while driving stick. He worked with me to decide on a meeting spot, and went out of his way to see which potential spots were doable.
Everything was seamless from the very beginning. The communication leading up to the lesson was great and John was an amazing instructor! He was knowledgeable, patient, and so positive as we walked through the steps of learning to drive a stick shift. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher! This is a legitimate business. I took this training because I will be traveling in Europe and difficult and expensive to get an automatic car. I used to drive stick shift almost 30 years ago when I got my drive license. Vanessa was very nice and knowledgeable. She taught me a lot of experience and very patient with me. The course was supposed to have 2 hours. I only used 1 hour and know pretty much everything I needed. This was the exact course I needed. Perfect.
Vanessa is an excellent instructor. She made me feel comfortable and secure. She was reassuring, helped me come up with mantras to remember so that I could drive smoothly. She didn't rush me through exercises either, which I really appreciated. I kinda wish I had a manual car now, it was more engaging to drive like that, I really enjoyed it.
