Very solid service to learn how to drive stick, The person I spoke to over the was professional and informative. She helped me figure out which class level to book based on my experience. My instructor, John, was on time to our lesson, he was kind and patient, and overall I left the 3 hour session feeling much more confident in my ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle. I would recommend Stick Shift Driving Academy to beginners - definitely worth the money spent.
This academy is highly recommendable for anyone who needs to know how to drive manual transmission. If you are going to get a rental or borrow a car in Europe, or spending time in Mexico, chances are you need a class like this. I had been taught how to drive stick shift a couple times years ago, but it didn't stick because the principles were not taught well. John was a patient teacher who explained why I should/shouldn't do certain actions while driving stick. He worked with me to decide on a meeting spot, and went out of his way to see which potential spots were doable.
Everything was seamless from the very beginning. The communication leading up to the lesson was great and John was an amazing instructor! He was knowledgeable, patient, and so positive as we walked through the steps of learning to drive a stick shift. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher! This is a legitimate business. I took this training because I will be traveling in Europe and difficult and expensive to get an automatic car. I used to drive stick shift almost 30 years ago when I got my drive license. Vanessa was very nice and knowledgeable. She taught me a lot of experience and very patient with me. The course was supposed to have 2 hours. I only used 1 hour and know pretty much everything I needed. This was the exact course I needed. Perfect.
