Sensational Seafood Service and Scenery! – Wow...best seafood anywhere! We have traveled coast to coast and just had one of the best seafood dinners we have had in a long time. Everyone at our table of 8 ordered something different so we could sample a lot of different selections. Each one was delightful - actually sensational! Hats off to the Chef! Prices were very much in line with every FRESH seafood restaurant we've ever eaten at - and well worth it. Whenever we are back in Minneapolis, we WILL go to Stella's.
Coconut shrimp was wonderful! – Our Family was involved in the "Get Your Rear In Gear" race for colon cancer. Our team was the #1 team for money raised. We ran/walked for my husband, Ed, who has Stage IV colon cancer. Stellas awarded our family with a gift certificate that we redeemed the Thursday of Memorial Weekend. GREAT FOOD AND LOTS OF FUN – We just celebrated our son's 18th birthday last week. We chose Stella's for the seafood and location. The Barbeque Shrimp were fabulous and the Walleye melted in your mouth. The chef took the time to visit our table and make us feel very welcome. We were a large group but our food all arrived on time and was delicious. We will definetely be celebrating at Stella's again. Loved it Christine

Bring cash, and lots of it. – My Fiancee' and I were invited to a going-away party at Stella's a couple weeks ago. We went, and despite the bottle-of-beer-for-the-price-of-a-six-pack drink prices, we had a good time. The entrees were more than we wanted to spend, so we opted for appetizers, which were fantastic. They are trying! – I was one of the victims to being charged 5 times on my credit card (I noticed all the rants about this have disappeared from this site!) Any ways, I was too, upset by this, and VERY upset by the way I was treated when I called inquiring about what the status on getting my money back. A horrible dining experience – My experience there was so horrible - probably one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Our waitress seldomly checked in, it took more than 2 hours to get our food and, when it finally did arrive, we were told that they had run out of my husband's side dish (and because we had waited so long, didn't want to order a replacement). Bad in so many ways. – We stayed away from Stella's after negative reviews earlier this year - then a recent "best of" award convinced us to try it. Because we're both former servers, we always root for new restaurants - this one struck out at every turn.
