My family has came here 3 times. I don't see us coming back. While the food was good the service was awful. Some of the staff was really friendly, but most was not. The speed of service is extremely slow. Two of the times we came(once for my daughter's birthday) we was going to get milkshakes after our meals. Because of how slow the service was we just left. Stopped by around 2 to grab food for my kids and I. Had to wait for chicken to be made which was no big deal. Waited about 10 minutes and got our food, chicken was hot but my 4 burgers and fries were cold and buns were mushy, our shakes were basically chocolate milk. They were completely melted. Customer service is majority lacking as well.

I didn’t think it could get any worse! We occasionally go and have the slowest service and most of the time, horrible service. Once in a blue moon it is not so bad. Today.. OMG!! Servers were quitting, getting fired not sure exactly all I know is people were walking out, getting told after they were seated that it will be an hour before food. Most horrible customer service I've ever experienced!!!!! All I wanted was to be treated with respect with my minor issue I had over 89 cents!!! Instead I had a manager that refused to fix the issue and slammed the drive thru window in my face!!! The manager also threaten to call the cops when I asked for her name!!! Ok we stopped at the Steak n Shake in Lancaster my mom and her bf and I did we went there cause a while back the service was great this time around we had a very rude waiter that didn't give us napkins or silverware my mom ordered a footlong chili cheese hotdog and he brings out a 6ft hotdog then to boot he didn't even come over and ask if we needed refills till our food was all gone and had nothing to drink this waiter was too busy flirting with the female waitresses and arguing with them to even do his job the manager just... read more
We have given this place chance after chance. Everytime we do it's awful!! The place is dirty, the speed of service is so slow, and half of the people working are so rude! Even the quality of food is bad! Steak and Shake has gone down hill!! I get better service at McDonald's!
