This haunt is AMAZING!! I went on Friday evening, and cannot believe this was only the second night Hells Gate was open for business! Starting with the drive onto the property... miles of eerily silent pitch black woods that beckon you to turn down anything you were listening to and soak in the starry sky and haunted mansion that lies ahead glowing in the moonlight. Line management definitly needed that was the only problem. Shuttle busses were a great idea from parking lot. The house and forest where great! Excellent house lots of areas to cover. Only thing is definitly more actors needed for outside and inside for a bigger fright.

When I seen The Ad on Facebook, and heard about it over the radio. It sounded so good, it looked like it was actually going to be what they were saying. It was definitely NOT worth it at all. I purchased two "VIP" tickets. VIP means NOTHING so don't buy it. There was two places in town to line up. The train station and city hall. I actually didn't like this place but having read the previous reviews, I can see management listened and made changes. So that is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. The wait time isn't so bad but I do fail to see how the fast pass makes a difference... had it not been for groupon I would have been really up upset paying the extra $10 for nothing. We had the Groupon speed pass and got right in on Saturday night. We got there when it opened at 7:00 and the shuttle took us right there. That's a very creepy ride through the woods and starts you off with creepy anticipation of what's to come! The line for VIP was low and took us about 10 minutes to get through that. Was rushed through and didn't get a chance to be scared. The cemetery was the best part, at least you could take your time. From what I saw the details were amazing and I wish I had more time to relish in then.
This haunted house has lot of potential. But I do agree with almost everyone else the lines were awful, we waited for almost 5 hours. I felt like it was one line after another. I know this is the new haunted house and any new business has its kinks but they need to work out. Honestly it was a cool haunted house but the lines aren't worth the wait.
